Hampton Bay ceiling fan - light will not dim
I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan with light and remote. Remote is model TC707ST, but I cannot see model number of fan. Installing contractor a year ago must have discarded manual. This lighted fan has worked perfectly before, but now when I use the remote to turn on and dim the light, it will only turn the light on to maximum intensity. When the light/dimmer button is held down, which should dim the light, it simply turns the light off. Suggestions?

Could be a problem with the remote or receiver. You could try a replacement remote, but the easiest thing might just to be to return the whole thing for a replacement under warranty.
