    How can you treat the subject of you essay objectively while still trying to persuade the readers of your point of view?

    If you believe that your point of view is correct, then it should be easy. You present evidence that supports your point of view, and evidence that supports the opposing points of view and then you argue that your point of view is correct because of x, y and z.
