    Having your depo shot 2 weeks late
    Hi, I have been on the injection for a year, and my forth shot wos given 2 weeks late, I wos told to do a pregnancy test on the 22nd of December, I wos also told to use protection for the next 7 days and I chose not to listen to this as I want to get pregnant, I just want to know what the chances are thanks xx

    It's possible, but not likely. While depo is designed to offer protection for about 13 weeks at a time, it often lasts longer. Consider that many women find it can take quite a few months after stopping using depo before they regain adequate fertility to achieve a pregnancy.

    It could happen soon after, it could take more than a year for some women.

I have been on and off the depo shot for the last 2 years. I am 34 years old and we really want to get pregnant. I know age has a factor along with being on the shot. I am going to see the ob Dr. Is there anything you can take to speed up the process?:confused: :confused:
