What is the penalty for shoplifting in Alaska as a second offense?
I am 17 at the moment but I am turning 18 in about a week... Will I be considered to be an adult or a minor when I go to court? And what are the concquenses? I attempted to steal $17 worth of merchandise..

Someone I know injured one of their own passengers in a motor vehicle accident while they were intoxicated. On top of a dui charge, they are being indicted for assault by auto. What is the usual sentencing for this in NJ if it is a first offense, with no previous record?

Ok so I just recently got caught shoplifting for the second time and the law was involved both times. The first time I was sent to court and they put me in a community service thing, I live in Michigan, do you think they will make me do jail time?
