    Car Registration Question
I live in Georgia and I recently purchased a car via an auto loan. My mom is first on the car and my name is second. After having the car for 30 days I was told by a lady at the dealership that the car could not be registered in my name alone it had to be registered under both my mom and I. Is this true? Before answering my question I also want to add that I had a previous car (which I traded for this one) and the loan was set up the same way, my mom first and me second, and the car WAS registered in my name alone. Can anyone offer any advice or who should I talk to??

The question is whose name is on the loan? If mom is the primary borrower then that's why.
