Why do social situations make me uneasy?
Whenever I'm around new people I get really anxious and feel so uncomforatable.
It's not that I'm afraid of being the new person not liking me. I don't know why I get this way, but it's starting to interfere with my life. |

Social anxiety is tough to deal with and if it's starting to interfere with your daily routines I'd say you should go to the doc for a checkup. The more you give in to the anxiety the more you fear feeling it and in the end you are just giving it more power over yourself. It's actually good to just blast through it and deal with it in some cases. Either way it would be beneficial to talk to your doctor about it, even if that causes your anxiety to muster up you have to do it before it wells up and swallows the rest of your life!

I am also same as you that can't get around or feel uncomfortable around strangers. I have nothing to say when I was socializing. Slowly I understand that you need to give yourself sometimes to think and get along in the social situations. If you need help, you should ask someone to practice a new socialize with you. Good luck I can do it you can, too.
