Do you know where they got married? Church or civil?

Do you have aunts or uncles you could ask?

Even if you obtain the information from the county office that holds their marriage license information, you have to pay.

If you want help you provide more information. I have read your post over and over. It is clear you want some information but it also looks like you want to know what's going on with the "free" sites. Narrow your question and we can help but please be aware of how to use the rating system.

if something is public record and I am public...
The "free" sites are not free, but simply want to draw you in in order to get your business. The information is free if you know which county office to visit and can look it up yourself. It will cost a fee if the county clerk looks it up for you and then mails the information to you.

If a funeral Home handled their burial they might have that information on date of marriage. Funeral Home that handled my great-grandfathers had that information on their paperwork. They even made copies of all the paperwork they had. Its just a thought.

Most sites are free to tell you if there are info, but charge to actually see results, If you know the state, ( still for a fee) you can often get a search of that states records.
