Does this confederate $50 have any significance?
I found a confederate $50 in an old family bible. It says Richmond 1864 on the front. The number is hand written 18443. The back is blank.

Confederate money is still a collectible but you need to have it apparised by a dealer. Condition of the bill will determine what it might fetch. Confederate States of America Currency - Collection and Sales

    Hi, yelbiar!

Also, if the obverse of it is blank, then I would question as to whether it was authentic or not. There have been a lot of fake ones made in the many decades since the Civil War.

    Thanks!
