Maytag Side-by-Side Freezer ice buildup on floor of freezer
I have a five year old Maytag side-by-side #MSD2754GR. I have had this problem for the last four years and have cleaned out the clogged drain plug each year myself. Seems that the ice buildup is coming somewhere else since water is not dripping down the back. Yes, it is humid and we are using the freezer more and it has more stored inside. Could it just be the extra food or is the icemaker possibly leaking?

I have a kenmore side by side and I had ice build up on the lower bottem back wall. I went onto the web site Appliance Parts from RepairClinic.com - HomePage and they really helped me a lot. I have to replace the defrost time. It tells you everything you want to know.
