    Was he wearing clothing she didn't buy him? No.

    Was his clothing somehow the issue that gave him away? No.

    Was it a facial expression that gave it away? Not a facial expression exactly. (I'll admit that's a bit of a trick answer.)

    Did she spot him somewhere he shouldn't have been? No.

    Is she telepathic but only if she is looking at the person? No.

    I am leaving the site, but didn't want to just be rude and leave this in the middle.

    It was a bit of a trick puzzle. If Unky had been here, he probably would have eventually asked if they were human, since that has become a standard question. No, they were not.

    They are praying mantis's and his head was bit off. Hence, the "facial expression" thing being a bit of a trick answer.
