My Laptop cant connect to any networks.
My laptop used to connect to the internet and networks. But now I can't find anything to do with my wirless finding device. It's almost as if it's forgotten it has a wirless device! Which happened with my CD Drive because of filters and I had that fixed. But now I have this problem and don't want to pay loads to get it fixed. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is your wirless device listed in Device Manager?

Right click MY COMPUTER>MANAGE>click on DEVICE MANGER in the left pane.

HP wireless assistant won't be in device maanger. Device manager are a list of physical devices in your PC. Look at the example I provided.

Underneath Network Aapters you will see your Ethernet Adapter. If you have wireless you should also see a wirless adapter as well. Do you see it?
