'98 Troy-Bilt won't climb and takes off down hills
I have a '98 Troy-Bilt Pony. It "cuts loose" going down slight inclines and is now having trouble going up small inclines. I'm thinking it could be a belt, pulley, or transmission, but not sure. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
No model given, but it should not freewheel downhill. Belts would be the first suspect. Also, did not say the drive system, so it is hard to go further.
    Peace,
