    Need wiring instructions
I moved and took my Harbor Breeze Avian ceiling fan with me and now I do not know how to connect it after removing other ceiling fan.

I have 2 switches on the wall, one controlled light, 1 controlled fan. I have 1, red, 1 white, 1 black, and 1 ground (coming out of ceiling).

The fan has 1 blue , 1 black, 1 white.

The remote swithch has 5 wires. One side wires are white, black and blue. The other side is black and white. I cannot seem to hook it up correctly. Hope you can help! Thanks.

I editied your post a bit to make it more readable.

It seems as if you have wall switches to control the light and fan and a remote control which means, you have to pick one of two options:

    1. Disable one switch on the wall. Use a single switch and the remote.

    Or
    2. Use the switches for the fan and light on the wall and ditch the remote.

I'm also assuming that the fan switch on the wall did not control speed.

What do you want to do?

We will do the first one. Disable one switch and use a single with the remote.

The fan has blue, black and white and the remote has the same. These wires go together as pairs. Blue-blue, blk-blk, wht-wht

You have a red/white/blk/gnd at the celing

    Cap the red(Ceiling)
    White(Ceiling) to White(fan control)
    Blk(Ceiling) to Black(Fan control)
    Ground(Ceiling) to Green(Fan)

You can reverse the roles of the Red and black.

The white/black on the remote would be considered power in.

The other wires White/blk/blue is power out of the remote.
