    Can a person with a felony get a government grant
    Can a person getting out of prison for a felony receive any grants for school or small business

    Depends on the specific grant and I believe in many cases the crime. For instance, I recall reading somewhere (perhaps when I filled out the paperwork) that some government school financial aid programs were not open to felons with drug charges.
