Installing a 10 foot long flooring transition
I want to install a 10 ft. long transition between the laminate floor I just laid and the vinyl floor in the adjoining room. The laminate that matches the floor comes only in 6 foot lengths. I'll have to have two equally spaced joins, or one join in the center, or one off center. Whatever I decide, I'd appreciate some advice on how to make that look as good as possible.

Have u thought about a piece of hard wood(don't know color of flooring) stained to match laminate and finished with poly.

Try stain and poly on small piece before buying full length needed.
