    I'm sorry that you're going through this, but what is your question?

    Is there some law being broken? Is that why you posted this in the law forum?

    In Iran military service is required of all males with exemptions for some jobs and for education. Also the higher your education the higher your rank. Also it is for a shorter time about 18 months.
