    Hi to everyone out there.

    My name is Sue, I want to start my own home cleaning business in the new year but, don't know where to start.
    I know I need a business plan and have been in touch with Banks before about a business plan but it was just a lot of jargen to me, please if any body could point me the right direction a would be very grateful.

    Go to a local bookstore like barnes and noble... in the business section there is an area that helps you understand how to start up a business, and I've seen some that deal with this exact topic. Set aside a few hours and go peruse the store and do a little reading.

    We started a small business (candle shop) without use of some books at first, but later found some to be very useful.

    Many small businesses fail because of poor planning and/or poor funding. Education on the front side is one way to ensure you won't make costly mistakes, or at least fewer of them.

    Rediscover the local library too.. we have found some great resources there.
