    Is one time independent consulting workd during unemployment self employment
    While unemployed during 2009, I earned $6800 doing independent consulting for 8 weeks, during which time my UE compensation was on hold. The company reported my earnings on 1099 Misc, line 7, non employeed compensation.

    Is this one time event considered self employment
