    Error Message Internet Explorer
I am getting this error message occasionally on different web sites:

The instruction “at 0x74986b37” referenced memory at “0x00000024”. The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate the program.

I have not figured out why it occurs on some sites, and could not find an answer on MSN Support.

    Can anyone advise.

    Thank you.

This is the result of an "add-on" program error within internet explorer. Moe than likely it is Macromedia,Java, or a similar Active-X control. Click on TOOLS and then MANAGE ADDONS to update these or disable the offender
