    From an Ontario Canada perspective, can a collection agency put a lien on a house when trying to collect on a student loan that is over 10 years old?

    Donny,

    In the U.S. most debts expire after 7 years. However, student loans are an exception to that rule.

    I expect that that is also true in Canada!
