    A large can of spaghetti sauce weighs 6lbs 10oz.
    If I use 18 of these cans, how many gallons is that?

    a gallon is a measure
    a pound is a weight:)
    you could have a pound of feathers and a pound of tomato sauce and they are going to be different in mass.

    Dump your sauce in a container.
    4 quarts=1 gallon
    2 pints= 1 quart
    2 cups=1 pint

    Or just 'eye' it. That's what I would do:D
