A few people have told me that a criminal justice degree isn't worth getting, is that true? Like is it worth it to get it

I can't say if it is woth it or not, but I do know that a good friend of mine is almost done with a BS in criminal justice, and just about the only job he can get in this area (NC) is working as a probation officer.
