    Humping Hunter
So I came home to a horny cat.

He's started humping this one toy, I've never seen him do that. He also makes this weird whiny noise.

Is he in heat or something?

    He's an indoor cat.

I don't want to neuter him but I will if I have to.

Will he be more aggressive? He's been a lot less cuddly lately and seems to just be minding his own business.

The poor guy is uncomfortable--he's masturbating to relieve himself. There is likely a female in heat somewhere nearby that he can hear/sense. Have him neutered.
He's being aloof to you because he's "on the prowl" and you're not his type! ;)
It's unlikely that he will become aggressive after neutering--probably the contrary will happen---mellower, fatter, lazier... and a lot more comfortable.

    Thanks!

What I meant was will he become aggressive if I don't neuter him.

Do you know [or anyone] how long this lasts? Eesh!

How old is your cat? Why on earth would you not want to neuter him?
If anything he'll just start spraying.
The humping thing? If he isn't neutered and he's begun this behaviour, it won't stop until he is. Anytime he catches wind of a female cat in heat he will do it. Some cats once they start continue even if there isn't a female in heat - and if left long enough before neutering it will continue even after that.

I don't want to because well I feel bad to be honest!

    Start spraying? That sounds gross.

Darn. I guess I'll have to neuter him..

    -sigh-

You feel bad about what? Bringing unwanted kittens into the world? Kittens that could be put to sleep because no one wants them?

Come on Muddy, be a responsible pet owner. ;)

Don't feel bad. He will live longer - testicular cancer will be eliminated from his risks, and things such as prostate cancer will be greatly reduced.

Another thing to consider besides his "blue discomfort" is that if you don't neuter him--one day he could well slip out the door to go find "it" and maybe get lost forever, have to fight other males and take a whoopin', or get hit by a car or any number of things. It seems like a mean thing to do to a fella... but he's only physically attached to his "stuff"--not emotionally! He truly will be more comfortable.
    Wish you well.
    True.
PS... when they spray it's to "mark" territory... and it REALLY stinks.

You will have a hard time keeping an un-neutered tom cat in the house.
They want to wander and find females.

I think your vibes are rubbing off on poor cat. Your horny all the time. That is okay but now your cat wants to have some fun and your ready to chop off his balls. Tit Tit Tit. Not sure what to do with you little sister. Just get a pretend rubber cat that this male can have fun with and you will be fine too.

I don't know which is more sad the fact that these actually exist or the fact that I stumbled across it looking for poodle pictures!

    ... Hi

    -sigh-

A friend came over yesterda, she came to take the dishwasher I never use.

We opened the front door and kept it open as we carried the dishwasher to the truck...

The point is, Hunter ran off, I haven't seen or heard of him since yesterday.

    Sigh.

Rachel has been wondering where he is, I told her he went out to do some exercise.

    I hope he comes back.

    Dammit.

Keep an eye out. Put posters up, call every veterinary clinic, pet store, humane society within 30 miles and report him missing.

    Good luck!
