    Dear sir/madam
    I am in grammar school :) and I have 3 questions for you.
    1. Flour is usually passed near a strong magnet before being packed in bags, why??
    2. the sump plug on a car is usually magnetised,why??
    3. what is LODESTONE??

    Flour is usually passed through a strong magnet before being packed in bags because it can be contained iron particles so when the flour pass through the magnet the iron particles are attracted by the magnet to separate from the flour.

    The lodestone is a stone which was found in Asia a hundred years ago.This stone was an iron(iron three oxide) which had power to attract magnetic materials such as. Iron, steel, cobalt, nickel and other metals.
