    No gas to the furnace
Carrier Crusader Gas furnace 19 years old
Will not flame up when the glow plug lights up. Technician just left $75 to tell me I need a new circuit board #CES0110057-00 and $350.00
My question is is that a fair price and do you believe I need a new board.

I have the same problem. I have a Carrier 58RAV055-GC with circuit board CEES0110057-00. So far I see the board for sale on the internet at various locations for $170 to $230. I tested my gas valve and the various safety switches and everything looks good so far.-but the gas valve never gets the signal to turn on after the 'glow plug' lights up. I suspect it is the board.

FYI: I see that there is a Nov.2007 post by 'DWF' that writes about the same kind of problem. The response was that the board is bad.

It is very possible that the circuit board is bad, the only way to know for sure is with a voltage meter. That price seems kind of high.
