    Smelly bathroom
Our downstairs bathroom has a awful smell coming from it. The smell doesn't exist in any of the upstair bathrooms. Our house is under 2 years old. The wax seal been replaced under the toilet and yet the smell still exists. Any other ideas what may be causing this odor?

Before we can help you eliminate the odor we first have to know where it originates. Sniff the drains, smell around the base of the toilet and get back to us with more information. Good luck, Tom

There is only a sink and a toilet in the bathroom, I sniffed the sink drain and overflow and did not notice any smell. I noticed a faint smell from the base of the toilet and like I mentioned before the wax seal was replaced.

Smelly house [ 2 Answers ]
