    Collecting quotes and phrases.
Well I've noticed that on here a lot of people have some pretty amazing signatures with some great quotes and phrases. Some funny, others sollumn, and others very deep and meaningful.

I feel that these quotes and phrases are here for a reason. So I want you guys to think of the best ones you have. Maybe they're already on your signature? Who knows!
All I know is that a lot of these strong words can have a very positive and meaningful impact on people's lives. So I think this would be a good place to start "collecting" them if you will. So that someone who doesn't see them elsewhere, might see them here.

    THANKS!

Got a particular topic in mind? My favorite is the anonymous "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" kind of philosophical I guess.

My signature is one of the best quotes I have ever heard, unfortunately the site I got it from listed it as "anonnymous", would love to know who said/wrote it if anyone knows.

Nothing specific, just whatever anyone thinks is good for any particular purpose. Preferably positive, but I'm not going to complain if there's sarcastic quotes. Those have just as much meaning.
Just ANY quote that really speaks to you, for whatever reason. :)

"It is never the wrong time to do the right thing."

"Do no pray for easy lives...pray to be stronger men." - JFK (also in my signature)

"If you're not wasted, the day is." (I know, it is a bit immature, but funny nonetheless).

I post on another board that has about 4000 men and 50 women. One of the women's sigs is:

Women who seek to be equal with men lack ambition. -Timothy Leary

Another one that makes me laugh: Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way, if he gets angry, he's a mile away and barefoot.

A more significant one: Be the change you want to see in the world.

"When a man is wrong and won't admit it, he always gets angry".

"An apology with excuses is not an apology"
(This one is very difficult to argue with, I think)

"An oral contract isn't worth the paper it is written on"

All anonymous now that my old computer that I was collecting them on, crashed.
If I can find the printout, Ill send authors. And some other quotes.
I love quotes, the more concise the better.

My favorite break-up/relationship quotes are in my signature.
It's not often that I find something that I don't want to change often, I am ADHD like that, so I know that are pretty important quotes to me.
I think the power of words is phenomenal.
That goes for songs also, the lyrics for some songs are life altering.
