Any ideas for using old buttons on a bracelet or necklace?

Recently, I made a wide beaded bracelet on the beading loom. It was pretty, but I had trouble deciding which type of clasp I should use. In the end, I looked through my button collection (well, I wouldn't call it a collection) and found

Another thing you could do is arrange the buttons in an artistic way in order to make a collar necklace or bracelet or brooch. It may sound easy, but I've made some stunning pieces by simply gluing interesting objects on a piece of felt and adding a clasp.

Let's see. An unique button could make for an interesting pendant if wire is added around it. Smaller mixed beads can be threaded on the wire for some aesthetically pleasing combinations.

The lucky thing about buttons is that they already have holes in them and the number of holes depends on the button.

I hope I helped answer your question.
