    What are specialized plant cells and how are they linked with photosynthesis? Any help would be appreciated :) x

    There are many many specialised plant cells... The ones that specifically carry out photosynthesis are the cells in the mesophyll layer of a leaf. Other plant cells have less chloroplasts to carry out photosynthesis, except the guard cells.
