The pilot is on. The problem is I usually have to blow across the burners for them to work and once the house reaches the desired temperature, the furnace shuts down and will not come back on

    Hi again, mwo100!

When is the last time that you had your furnace inspected by a professional, please?

This past fall for a check up before it got cold. Worked fine until February. Called them in again and could't find anything wrong.

Do you have any issues with money and paying for someone else to look at your furnace? I do, and am getting help from the State.

I'm worried that you might be dealing with a dangerous situation here!

    Thanks!

Have you tried speaking with neighbors and other friends, associates, etc. as to who they might recommend?

    Thanks!

I'm hopeful that someone will come along who does have the same problem with their furnace that you're having!

    Thanks!

Furnace not working [ 1 Answers ]

I'd previously asked a question about the use of the "Fan" option on a heating thermostat. I explained that I don't have central air but was seeing if the fan option might aide in cooling down the warm air in the house. I basically followed the same procedure as advised but the unit still will...
