    I think you need to do some of your own research.

    These words should not be too hard for you to define?

    I'm gathering by this question and your previous one you are getting us to do your homework / study?

    Against policy here.

    You will find it much more rewarding if you research this stuff yourself as well!

    Those terms are not specific to oceanography... so a good old dictionary will work ;)
