Federal Bonding for Ex-Felons Seeking Work
My name is mr tiptoe. I currently seeking to become knowledgeable on how federal bonds (issued by the fedral govt.) insure the perspective employee that their business is covered against loss of funds inventory and property, giving them incentive to hire me, an ex-felon.

Need addresses or numbers to request forms to be filled qualifying me to be enrolled.

Is there someone that knows any organizations willing to implement assertive methods to overcome the continuous lockout of the job market, i.e. ex-felons that want to repair their family status and become a productive tax paying citizen. Help to overcome the obstacles and barrier of walls we constantly engage in trying to earn a decent living by the sweat of our brows! After paying the price for our misdeeds, we as people deserve a chance to become gainfully employed, so that our families no longer have to depend on the welfare system. Please respond with direction and numbers I can contact.

    Thank you and bless all!

Greetings and WELCOME to the site, mrtiptoe!

I merged the two threads that you started in Introductions, did a bit of editing and moved the merged threads to this forum topic area so that it will be more likely to be noticed and addressed by those who are best able to answer it. Introductions is only for people to introduce themselves and for others to welcome them. Thank you for your understanding in that regard. We would appreciate it if you would return to Introductions sometime to tell us more about yourself, if you would be willing to do that.

Concerning the questions that you have, around where I live, we have what's called the Safer Foundation to help former felons to "get back on their feet" again in finding employment and overcoming the obstacles with having felony convictions on a record and trying to find a job with having that kind of record. Perhaps a similar organization exists where you're located? If you would let us know where you're located, it would be helpful to us in assisting you the best.

    Thanks!

Hi. I am not quite sure how this site works but have been beating my head against the wall trying to find an answer, as Mr. Tiptoes. I live in North San Diego County in California and am a federal felon. I am 45 years old and it is VERY hard out there because I have to report my felony to prospective employers even though my felony doesn't even show up on my record! I tried to get a job with Wal Mart and was denied because they thought I lied on my application because my felony didn't show up but admitted I had one. So now I am trying to find out anything I can to look into this Bonding Program. I used to be a legal secretary, I used to work for the California Department of Motor Vehicles, I have been office managers for payday loan companies to veterinarians! I cannot get a job right now! I am wanting to know if I DO get into that bonding program does it also provide us with people that are looking for employees?? And especially here in San Diego County, preferably North County. And if not, maybe I should start a company that does??

    Hi, FrancescaJ!

How this site works, is that in order for your question to be recognized as being your own, you need to start a new thread with the new question. It doesn't work the same way that a chat room does.

Once you've started a new thread, you'll be more likely to get people to notice your question.

So, my suggestion to you, would be for you to start a new thread. I would move your question to a new thread myself, but this isn't one of the forum topic areas that I moderate.

    Thanks!

Mr. Tiptoe. The Federal Bonding Program is the answer to your question. You need to become the expert on Federal Bonding so that when the time comes you can answer a prospective employers questions and help the process move along toward a successful outcome for yourself and the employer.

You need to go to www.bonds4jobs.com and read everything you see. Download any brochures and videos and study them. Then contact the numbers listed for your state once you have an employer willing to hire you.

What you will find is that by becoming knowledgeable and then educating your new employer, you will most likely get hired without the bond actually being obtained.

    Best of luck to you

    Hi folks,
To all that are looking for the bonding program. I came accros this site bonds4jobs.com check it out and hopefully it will help you guys out. Now for those who say that they had a felony and it doesn't show, well next time on the application just answer no to the question about having a felony. Most employers would only do a D.O.J. background and it would look into your federal background.
