    Describing bleeding
This is really just a question out of curiosity, not an actual problem I'm having. I've seen a few questions where women are describing their bleeding and they say things like "i was spotting for 15 minutes..." or it was only bright red for 30 minutes and then nothing... " I can only describe my bleeding in vague terms like, in the morning my period was light, it got heavier later in the day. No minutes or specific time frames.
So how do you know if you were really bleeding for only 15 minutes or something? The only way I would know is if I were in the bathroom every 5 minutes with my watch.
