    Assult and batter
    I just got an assult and batter charge against me.I was defending myself from a bigger girl and she went to press charges against me.I wanted to go to the police station to press charges but the police wouldn't let me out the police car until she got in her car and left.All of this happened around 5pm and I was arrested around 7:30pm.My rights were never read to me and I spent the night in jail.I now have to go to court.. so let me know what will happen and what can I do.My boyfriend was also charged with dimestice violence that she pressed against him but he never hit her.So what can he do to help himself.
