    help topics for index missing

    help Please,

    I used the windows washer prog and now my help index topics is blank and all that is there is a red x.

    I tried restore but no luck
    tried the reg bckup on win wash but no luck

    I tried to install pchealth.inf from my os cd still no luck

    I am stumpped. Any suggestions. Need everyone's expertice please if you have time.

    Assuming you are using Windows XP, simply insert the XP disk and reboot the computer and when prompted to "press any key to boot from CD", do so.

    This will allow you to do a reinstall of Windows using the "Repair" Option. This will replace any missing or corrupted files without losing any of your data.
