Sounds like amdh is good therapy --lose weight, cut back smoking,

I know what you mean about getting caught up when you 'take a break' here. :D

    Dedication to the task

    Better physical health

    Better mental health

    Ability to really 'focus'

    Keeps us off the streets

    What stage is pulling hair?

I know I have felt like it especially with people who ask should they leave and then 101 posts later they are still defending and justifying why they want to stay.

I like the great reasons you came up with stringer.
When this post is finished I am going to do a stage addiction list thing :D

Yeah, there is a flip side to all this isn't there...

Sometimes in the middle of the night when I come down to my smoking room/office (not allowed to smoke anywhere else) I think that smoking may be an excuse to check out the posts...

Well, I thought I was OK - I said to myself that I'm not one of those AMHD addicts that logs out at 4.30 am...

    ... Until,

I woke up at 4.30 am a couple of nights ago and I couldn't sleep and thought, 'hey I could go and check what's happening on the AMHD forums!'

    ... Until,

My husband said, 'are you still on the computer and why is the house so untidy? "

    ... Until,

A friend rang and asked 'do you want to have coffee', and I said 'um, er, can we do it tomorrow?'
