Lack of air flow (plugged evap coil, dirty filter) and or low refrigerant charge will cause freezing of system.

If system was low on refrigerant, then there is a leak somewhere that needs to be found. Finding a leak on a residential ac system can be very very frustrating and time consuming, especially if it's a very small leak.

Did the person that added freon check superheat or subcooling to make sure charge was correct, or did they just add freon until they thought it was cool enough?

    What is this on?

Air conditioner? - window unit or central?
    Freezer
    Cooler
    Household refrigerator?

What kind of refrigerant are you charging it with?

Could be a lot of stuff.

Please don't start a new thread - should be added to old thread.

If you went to school and studied very hard did you not learn about system operation?

I can tell you motor is bad, but you have not given us enough information. Please continue on old post so people have all of the info needed.

    Evaporator freezing
Yes I do know how the system operates . I'm just looking for some advice . The motor is blowing but there's hardly anything coming out of the vents . Iknow there has to proper airflow for it to work properly . What I'm asking is could it be the motor or could the evaporateor be plugged. It didn't look like it but I didn't have good light .
