FMA, full metal alchemist, an anime :)
Ahhh yes, he has that one in a special "collectors tin"
Gosh, I don't think he knows that they are remaking it and I am too scared to tell him, he will scream like a girl :p
I have only watched a few of them.
Started watching Neon Genesis a while back and couldn't get into it, same with Ghost in the Shell.
I like the cutesy ones :o Galaxy Angel, Steel Angel Kourimi etc.

Yeah they're remaking it to follow the manga, which is a good thing because although what they did was really good and I really liked the movie, the manga just gets awesome, so far they've only done subs no dubbing yet, that I know of :)
Yeah evangelion confused me a bit and got quite weird towards the end, but still very good, I like the ending credits song :), ghost in the shell I thought was great, I especially liked the tachicomas (little blue spider bots)
I've not seen galaxy Angel or steel Angel Kourimi yet, I haven't really started watching any others apart from the big 3 and FMA, I should really :)

I will (unwillingly) forward that information on to him! (my poor ears) haha thanks!
The only manga I have read from start to finish is Hack Legend of the Twilight. Excellent manga and anime.
I'll have to wait until my other half gets home and I will be able to give you some recommendations!
I just had a quick look at this collection and the ones he has the most of are Gungrave, Hellsing (I have actually watched that one and loved it) Initial D, Orphen, Gundam... ack, I've forgotten already!

Haha yes, the accents are terrible in most of them, all of the Initial D ones he has are in Japanese and subbed. He couldn't stand how they changed the characters names and messed around with the English version!
Sorry, I keep thinking of new ones that I have seen. Two standalone movies I loves were The Cat Returns and Spirited Away...
OK I'll stop now haha
It's bed time for me anyway.
Night Bear *hugs*
