Obama rating may drop like dead flies
Obama swatted at a fly during a TV interview. PETA is now upset with him because he should have a critter cage that he could do the humane thing and catch them so they can be released later unharmed.

Can you imagine everybody on TV or where ever carrying around critter cages and running around trying to catch a fly or other bug?

Excuse me Matt Lauer and audience while I get up to trap this fly in my critter cage.

PETA hasn't been relevant to a lot of people for a few years now. They are indeed good for a laugh now and then.

He was just enforcing a no fly zone.

It was the major network news cheerleader's reaction here and overseas that amused me.
He was compared to Dirty Harry and to Ninjas .

They of course also marvelled at President Bush's agility and cat-like reflexes dodging shoes so it is fair and balanced coverage .

Maybe PETA is preparing to sneak attack and douse him with fly blood .

Remember Ralph Macchio catching the fly in the first Karate Kid flik? Myagi had been trying to do it for years, Daniel-San sits down and does it on his second or third try. Myagi's response: "Beginner luck".

    Hello:

I'm ordinarily a supporter of animals, but Peta is against throwing the DEAD fish at the Pike Place Market.

    What's up with that?

    That video is sick.

I've caught a couple of flies using that method. (I used to show off in summer camp when I was a kid by catching a fly off a table in passing.) But 5 at a time is out of my league.

And keeping the dead ones? Thirteen million of them? That's just gross.
