Lopezeva- You have a series 1957B ,$1.00 dollar, silver certificate;; signatures are Granahan and Dillon;; {Lopez go to this site here on collectables and you will be able to find the condition and grade of your note;; Without actually seeing the note ,from what you say ,I would have to say that it would go as {VG;;VG8::VG10. One of these; The tear and folds is what decreases its value, Really the tear cannot be into the green color;;{ I can give you these- Good isd $1.50;;Very good is $2.00 ;; VF-20 UNC-63
    #1621 $3.00 $9.00
    #1621 (*) $4.00 $1500
LOPEZ- THe star note ,has a star right before or right after the serial number { * };; VF_20 means very fine ,grade 20 and UNC-63 means - UNCIRCULATED -grade 63;; THE NUMBER 1621 is a number that is assigned to that certain note in all the books, every coin or paper money note has its own number;; Sorry I couldn't give you a better value on your silver certificate, ;;I hope thart I have answered your questions.HAVE A GREAT DAY AND GOD BLESS :::F.B.E.
