Change garage door opener from chain to belt drive
I have a chain drive garage door opener that I want to replace with a belt drive system. The new belt opener I want has new drive/track system included - my question - will the adapter to the door lift bracket for a chain drive work with the belt drive, or am I going to have problems finding a new one?

It only took you a half hour to figure out the parts are the same, nice.

I guess I meant to say trolley, not the door lift bracket

The trolley will be different but the barckey on the door is the same. A new opener comes with all the parts you will need, there is no converting a cahin to a belt drive, got to buy new.
