I need help on writing a debate about whether immigration laws should be inforced more on not. I need facts from both sides of the debate. Anyone have any tips or sites?

Wow, and I thought I was an impatient person.

This is not a chat line, where you get instant responses.

This is a bulletin board where you post your question and people post responses whenever.

Typically, it takes about a day to get some good responses pilled up.

    Second…

    Curlyben speaks the truth.

What are some of YOUR ideas. You must have some. Post them, and we will assist you, not do your homework for you.

Ok, I'm sorry. I'm used to other forums where you either get posts within moments or not at all. Sorry if I seemed rude or impatient. So far, I've gathered that immigrants are obviously so nessessary to our society that if we deported even half of the illegal immigrants, our society would crash. But immigration also takes jobs from others who legally are moredeserving, and create more compotition. But I am aware that a lot of immigrant take jobs that most americans don't want. But that doesn't mean those americans wouldn't take those jobs if they see they are not likely to get others... That's most of all I have so far.

    Why are illegal immigrants important?
And why would our society crash if we deported them?

Wouldn't our economy suffer a huge loss of labor and stuff like that?

Well, some immigrants will work for low wages, where citizens will not work for wages that low. So, then if we stop employing immigrants then we will have to raise wages to employ citizens, which would increase cost of goods sold.

Couldn't spread it but Nice one J_9.

Firstly why should should people work for peanuts especially if you are a hard working citizen, total socialism if you tell me.

But as rightly J_9 said, they will have to raise the wages to employ citizen which rightly that's the way it should be not employing immigrants.

Deporting Immigrants would be detrimental the economy because they do take a lot of jobs that americans don't want. I used to work in a restaurant and a majority of the bus boys we had were IM's, the job paid the same to anyone. Ultimately my point is that many epople argue they take away jobs from hardworking Americans but these are jobs that hardworking Americans won't take.

Our economy should NOT be based on illegal immigrants.

We don't need them to take up the work we don't want to do especially because of low wages. The government should know better and raise these wages for their citizens not pay less which means money in their pockets. This is all socialism.

    Definition of illegal :
Prohibited by law or by official or accepted rules.
Very controversial, so if its prohibited by the law why is it OK for our government to employ them..?
Just so they pay less
