    Relatively simple question?

Divide 1 by the denominator of the fraction and then multiply by the numerator. e.g.

    1/4 = 1 divided by 4 = .25

Divide the bottom number into the top number, for instance
    1/2 = .5
    1/4= .25
    1/8= .125
