I need help finding my dad. I have had a heart to heart with my mum but she won't tell me anything about him. I last saw my dad was when I 4 years old I'm now 25. I have not seen him for a lot of years,and I would like to get to know him.please help.

The first thing you would need to do is have a first and last name and an approximate age. Of course, it would be very helpful to have an approximate location as well.

Do you know why your mother does not want to tell you about him?

My dad name is roger smith his last known address was 1 grayshott rd headley down bordon hampshire. His must be 50s or 60s I really don't know

There are many resources on the internet to help you find a person. Are you in the US? If so, US Search will give you a detailed profile on a person for a small price.

If you can not find any of that information on your own, you can hire someone to help you. With the information you have, a trained investigator could most likely help you find him.

Ok, I have found a site Uk People Finder, finding people, find people, search for somone in UK

Check it out. It is the equivalent of the US Search I had mentioned before.

Please keep in mind - I have never used it before so I can not confirm if it is legitimate or not. I just figured it could be worth a shot.

One point worth mentioning is, that regardless of what happened between your parents, your father has probably moved on and is in a new relationship. He may not want any possible problems children from an old relationship may bring.

Having said that, and being of a similar age to your father, if you were a daughter of mine that I hadn't seen for many years, I would welcome you with open arms and many tears for having missed your formative years.

I have sent letters to all them addresses u gave me now I'm waiting for replys.lets hope 1 of them is my dad
