    Telephone
We have a 7 year old Uniden telephone in the kitchen that has a wireless hand set and speaker in the base. The AC adapter is making a very soft buzzing sound that we had never noticed before. Should the whole works or the adapter be replaced? We are leery since an old computer popped that was plugged in although "supposedly off" for a couple of months. My hubby said that even though it is off, there is electric there. Makes us wonder about the phone. What do you think?

    Thanks.. Syl

Ok, while merely replacing the adapter may work, check out some yard sales and flea market ( of if you are like me you have a box of varoius old adapters from other products in the shed)

But honestly 7 year old, I am surprised it has lasted this long ( have you ever replaced the battery) if not I would bet it will go before long)
