    Fuses,relays,blower motor?
I have a 96' ford contour and the heat/defoster stopped blowing out heat.I checked the corresponding fuse(for a blower motor) and it was not blown. The maintaince book also says there is a heater fan motor(is this different than just a blower motor?) that runs off a relay is it possible the relay is bad and how do I determine if that is the problem?

    Thanks

. Test all underdash and underhood fuses with a test light or multimeter:

It's doubtful that a relay is bad.

. Check blower motor connections for corrosion, if possible.

    . Spray controls with WD-40.

. Check control switch, if problem persists.
