I have a mini daschund, just over 3 months old. This morning she started breathing heavily and doing hick ups and cough combination. As if she is having a hard time breathing. She tried to throw up twice but she couldn't. She is also licking the floor as hard as she can. I have no clue why. She never did that before. This started after her breakfast at 7 am and around 9 am it slowed down but she is still doing the weird breathing every 10 minutes. She is usually fully of energy, and she still is, so I don't think smt is blocking her throat, at least nothing big enough to be danger. But she is clearly not breathing easily. I hear a sound from her nose as well. As if she has the flu. Please help.

You should take your puppy to the vet. If it was just hiccups then I wouldn't be too concerned, puppy's are similar to babies, and babies always hicup. But the heavy breathing and those other little symptoms may be a serious problem. Hope this helps! And please try to bring your puppy to the vet.
