    What are you thankful for?
I just want to know something (or many things) you are thankful for.

I truly am thankful that in my family, we have our health.
I am thankful that my good days out number my bad.
I am thankful (believe it or not) to have found this website when I did.

    Anyone?;)

For re-living childhood through my son.

For my wife's patience and impatience.

For my daughter's silliness justifying my own.

For learning what boundless love was from my grandfather.

    And for duct tape.

    God Bless Duct Tape.

I am thankful for being given a second chance at life (cancer survivorship)

For my 4 children, through them I live through the twenties, teens and preschool age all over again

I am thankful for a chance to go back to school and give back to the medical field what was given to me 10 years ago

I am extremely thankful for my in-laws who are helping pursue my career

I am thankful for growing up in a loving and functional family

And I am thankful for my husband who, when I lost my hair due to chemo, shaved his head so I would not feel all alone. :D

I regard all beings mostly by their consciousness and little else

I am grateful to just be alive. I think everything that comes with life is a gift or a lesson. I am easily affected by the simple things: warm sunlight, a good meal, clean sheets, purposeful work. I am overwhelmed sometimes by the really good stuff: my way-too-happy dog, my cool cats, my enormously enlightening, supportive and sometimes eccentric friends and an amazing man who loves me like I have never been loved before. There is not much in my life that isn't a source of delight, despite the challenges so as lame as it may sound, LOL I would have to say I am grateful, one way or another, for absolutely...
    EVERYTHING :p

PS - Oh and Karma, I am really glad your childhood is included in your list, I liked that!

My secret to a happy life is keeping my expectations low; that way I am rarely disapointed. LOL

Ever see the steve martin Saturday night live "if i could have one wish for christmas" skit? Anyone?

*** found the "transcript"... can't find the video, which is really what you need to see, but it gives you the idea...

I know it's a bit off topic, but similar enough that I thought of it after id made my own thankful list

    -the smell after it rains
    -clean sheets (that's good)
-medication, yes especially when the kids are sick... THANK YOU FOR MEDICATION!
