    What do the 'prostitutes' do?
We often see that when we are in the bed, doing or relishing sex, we face so much difficulty to avoid the fear of pregnancy, as a child may be conceived, but the prostitutes have to give full and optimum pleasure to her customer and how do they manage the childless stage... as a husband takes care that when the ejaculation is going to take place, he ejects his penis or uses condom or so, but in case of a prostitute, the man has to draw full advantage of his payment and he is least concerned about the future of the lady, whether conceiving or not...

    Kindly satiate my curiosity!!

Well, most prostitutes insist on the gentleman wearing protection. Not so much for the pregnancy factor, but rather to stop getting any nasty bugs. Those that do go "solo", usually have a resource for getting abortions if they get pregnant, or are so dependent on addicting drugs, that they will take any risk to keep that habit going. But again, the thought of contracting AIDs, or another disease, keeps most of them insisting on condoms. There is a female condom, but I think that the result is the same for the man. I would also think that any intelligent "John" would be more than happy to avoid trouble and wear one too.

I guess if a prostitute do get pregnant by on of their Johns, they have 3 options like any other woman that gets pregnant. Keep the baby, have an abortion, or give the child up for adoption.

If you have more questions, you may as well ask. You may not get answers that you like, but there's no point in just leaving them in your head.

Even thoug I answered this thread I really don't understand what is your concern about what prostitutes do? Don't take this response as being mean but I just don't it.

Over time they do, often they use the morning after pill, have an abortion or even sometimes have a child.

Also not sure of your age, but pulling out is not a method.

Most will always be on the pill, use condoms and hope for the best

I'm going to guess here, but I think he wants to know how prostitutes give clients pleasure with out the cumbersome aspect of using protection.

I've also moved this to the Adult Sexuality forum where a he may be able to ask the questions he wants.

My concern is about myself. I want to draw full pleasure and give full pleasure to my life partner, but it often happens that use of condom does not give any joy to either, and pullin' it out is something, which leaves the process half-enjoyed as when our sexual intercouse and the delight is at the peak, ejection hampers and cools down the 'so hot' process.

About any other method, other than CONDOMN and PULLOUT is not known to either of us... I stuck to ask the query as they too satiate their customers and do not have plenty of kids, as they should have, even as their profession is only to give maximum sexual pleasure.

I hope, I am not hurting anyone, and neither am I violating any rule of ASKMEHELPDESK.

If your life partner and you are both free of any sexually transmitted disease than you do not need to use a condom. If you are both faithful to one another a condom is not necessary. There are other forms of birth control that are as effective as a condom.

There must be a woman's health clinic where your partner can get information on effective birth control.

First pull out is not a method, people who use that get to be called parents.

And if you don't know what "pills" they are birth control pills, you visit your doctor and/or health clinic and get them. But no method is 100 percent, so if you want to be truly safe, use of pills and condom are best.

There are condoms, and then there are condoms. Have you tried the lambskin or natural ones? These don't protect you from certain diseases but feel more natural.

There is the birth control pill which comes in many types. It contains hormones which prevent pregnancy. There is an injection of hormone, Provera which prevents pregnancy for up to 12 weeks.

She can also, or additionally use a diaphragm or cervical cap. These must be prescribed and fitted by a doctor. There are also sponges which contain spermicide, foam and insertable spermcide "inserts."

If she never plans to have children, or have any more, a doctor can insert an IUD (intra-uterine device) which can be left for several years. If neither of you plans on having children a man can have a simple surgery called a vasectomy.

All birth control can fail, sometimes using two or more metnods at the same time can result in an unplanned pregnancy (this is somewhat rare.) If you read labels and ask questions you can learn what you need to know about it. Prostitutes either use one or more of these things or have had their fallopian tubes tied which results in sterility, pretty much like a vasectomy.

The whole point of getting educated about and using birth control is so that you and your partner can have sex without worrying about having children.

This may sound a little obvious.. but.. I'm on the depo shot.. meaning my man can and not have to worry about pulling out, or using a condom because we are in a monogomous relationship.. meaning ONE PARTNER.. in a prostitutes case.. I would imagine they are on some sort of birth control if they don't use condoms.. and if you're a prostiute do you really think they are in the right state of mind to care if they get knocked up or some disease? They are probably trying gto pay for their drug habit in the first place.. hope that helps

    To the original poster...

I'm guessing you are asking about prostitutes because of the high frequency of sex and the related higher risk of pregnancy, right?

As mentioned, "pull out" is not a reliable method. I believe something like one in five women using just this method becomes pregnant. It is never recommended as a reliable method to prevent pregnancy.

You mention that you are not aware of methods other than withdrawl or condom use. There are other methods.

Contraceptive pills is one. IUD use is another. Other methods of timing your cycle also exist, but have higher rates of pregnancy. These may or may not be available where you live. Can you tell us where you live? Do you have a physician? An ob-gyn?

Concerning the frequency of oral given by prostitutes... I do think this can play into the question if you look at "how do they avoid pregnancy"... one way is clearly the use of oral, hand, anal... along with condom use with intercourse and other methods.

Most men go to whores to get get fellatio/ oral sex/ BJ's, *according to studies*.

People don't seem to understand this. Remember, pornography is not a reflection of reality, kids.

(PS- when one is pregnant, is any must and condom-free sex safe? I am just asking as during pregnency people suggested us to have any much sex.)

You and your wife should visit your doctor and discuss birth control methods face to face so that both of you understand every way there can be. Yes, knowing where you live would be helpful, but I am sure all methods, IUD, pills, condoms are accessible to you there ?

But, your posts are confusing, Sukh. It seems that pregnancy is not an issue at this time.

As for sex during pregnancy. If a woman enjoys a happy sex life with her partner and becomes pregnant, then there is no reason whatsoever why she can't enjoy the same experiences during pregnancy. Anytime up to the third trimester is safe, within reason and caution, and different styles are better then others.

What you are referring to is generally called the Rhythm method. It refers to the fact that a woman ovulates only at specific points in her cycle. Those times are when she is most fertile.

However the rhthym method is one of the least effective forms of birth control. Most women do not have cycles that are so regular then can count on using it.

The most effective form of birth control is a pill but its not 100%. You really need to both vist your partner's OB/Gyn and have a full discussion on appropriate measure of birth control. Another good source for your various options is a Planned Parenthood clinic.
