Technically, no. Taken in sufficient quantities, it could actually induce the opposite effect. I assume you are taking this medication for hypothyroidism or Hashimoto's disease.
This drug supplements your body's natural thyroid hormomes, of which, for whatever reason, it is producing in insufficient quantities.
